I don't have much, but I figured I might as well make a post where I can post various things I make/edit/modify/work on in gimp here, rather than have multiple posts.

Here is an old 8-bit timer I made for a church we used to go to. I custom made the Pac-man and ghosts, and animated them completely in gimp.

As I do other things, I will add them here.

My kids came home from school one day, with flimsy bookmarks from the school library, so I made a secret special project for them. We all like Dr. Who, so I took into account, favorite colors, favorite doctor, companion, and enemies, and made them all customized bookmarks. Then, I laminated all of them, and they are all customized bookmarks for them, and durable! The backs all have their names, and mine, so I blurred out the example, but they are all otherwise the same. Any Dr. Who fans here? I did not make the "You're Dalektable" art on the backside. Of course the watermark is not on the actual bookmarks.

A simple discord avatar I made for myself, and corresponding ones I made for some of our other family members for when we play, based on their favorite colors. Mine is purple!

Very varied, creative and beautiful work, Mapsking. You are very good in making logos. Why not design your own avatar for Gimp Learn? I 'm convinced it will be beautiful

BTW: with your favorite color purple, you're not alone, that's Wallace's favorite color too

I was contemplating trying to come up with something last night. Maybe I will see what I can come up with, ha ha. Thanks, BTW.

making bookmarks for the whole family sounds like fun and a good example of how GIMP can be used in the real world objects.

Exactly, I think I made them in March, as a secret surprise for them, and they still have them and use them every day, ha ha!

Here is an old animated image I made for my wife one day as a surprise when she was out of town. Not smooth animation and very amateurish, but hey, I made it from scratch in gimp, and she loved it. ;-)

Here is an old image I made for the only school in our tiny town. Their mascot is the Mustangs, and I noticed all the web pages, and school stuff had low resolution crappy images, so I made a new high res logo unsolicited for them, ha ha, whether they liked it or not!

Great! what a nice lovely surprise for her. Thank you MapsKing for sharing it.
Nice the logo for the school, too.
