Perspective training -
Very nice creation, but...
sorry to disappoint you about perspective: the 2 rectangular objects are parallel on the table and must "converge" to the same point (at horizon).

Issabella and Richard - thank you, but it looks like I blew it

Thanks Diego - Oh dear and the second seed packet (peace flower seeds!) was just added quickly as an afterthought for a bit of fun - it was the pot and first seed packet for which I used 'orthogonals' as per the training document.

Pat - after an earlier critique from Diego, I resolved to try to learn more abut 'real' 'drawing and getting perspectives better if not always correct! Have a look here to see a document I am using to learn from - viewtopic.php/Perspective--A-lesson-re- ... ?f=8&t=964

In the last image I posted I hastily added a second packet of seeds and Diego pointed out that I got it wrong because the packet was not correctly aligned/shaped - to quote him "they must converge to the same point". It is all about horizons, vanishing points and 'orthogonals', lines which can be used to correctly determine perspective shapes.

Hopefully this diagram will show you the error I made with the seed packet on the left ...

OK. I did not realize that the left one had to be skewed that far to the right to have the same point. I thought it would go back to the horizon at it's own point. Thank you. Looks like I have more studies to do.

Getting away from perspective, here is a retrospective - my attire from the early 60s.
