Multiple Zooms with options script for GIMP

This image will create animation of multiple zooms of your active layer.
multiple_zooms.zip
zipped .py file (unzip, put in your GIMP's /plug-ins/ folder)

version 2 allows base opacity change.
(1.41 KiB) Downloaded 78 times
multiple_zooms(3).zip
version 3 allow center coordinate (of zoom center) specification
(1.47 KiB) Downloaded 80 times
multiple_zooms(4).zip
version 4 allows for negative coordinates (of zoom center)
(1.47 KiB) Downloaded 167 times
multiple_zooms.py
version 5. UTF-8 instead of UTF-8 BOM so it would work on windows
(3.13 KiB) Downloaded 80 times
version 4 allows for cool effect such as animicule water effect here

Script Menu Location: Python-Fu/Multiple Zooms...

Script Options:

Instructions:
1. Open your image with your active/selected layer.
2. Run Script (Python-Fu/Multiple Zooms...), change options as desired and then click "OK" to run script.
3. Script will create a new image as animation with mutiple frames.

Thank you Tin,
It was difficult to control, had to isolate the area and create another dummy area to pull it off center and control the direction.
Then cut that section to fit again.
Version 3 is much quicker with selection of X,Y center.
This one I modified the x,y to (-5000,5000,.5) so the arc may be wider at the starting point on the image
First Example
X at about 50 % of image width
Y at 0
