Custom Font Help?

Post#1 by Wallace » 28 Oct 2016, 22:07

I've worked really hard on this custom font,
to be used with the Custom Font Script,
but I can't seem to align everything correctly.
Here's a portion of what I have completed.

Here's the .xcf file I created.

I need to have the spacing figured out and there seems to be a lot of spacing needed for this font.
I've done the bulk of the work, but need someone that can review it and make any necessary changes.

I was also wondering about a way to have the font rendered, even if there are missing character?

For example, if I type "ABCDEFG%" and there isn't a "%" character.
The script could eliminate this character?

I'm trying to have the font posted above to look like this image below.

I'll give this a look tomorrow. I am trying to write a script to prevent bots from registering right now.

Also, updated Custom Font Script version 16 that just messages user when character not found but script will continue to execute for the rest of characters so that we'll always get a result/output.

As you can see i have defined paths for kerning for WA.png AW.png but because i didn't define Wa so Wa still looks too far apart.
but with the existing kerning defined i think you should be able to define extra kerning using those examples.

Yes you're right.
Thanks again for taking the time to fix my mess.
