OMG, all these beautiful flowers and trees... I love them. They even bring tears to my eyes.
That's what beauty of nature sometimes does to me.
And yes, small is beautiful too. In my tiny garden (a few square meters) a white helleborus is blooming.
Unfortunately snails see it as a yummy bite... There isn't much left of it :(

Past mid summer now, fewer flowers to see and the garden needs constant watering as we have still had no decent rain in 6-9 months now; one of my large water harvesting tanks has run dry - first time in 10 years.

However, Aussie natives can handle drought well, so after watering this morning I took a few pics.

Calyx1 top left to right - hibiscus, correa, small grevillea and yellow garland lily
Calyx2 - large greviilea trees from low down to avoid the sun into which I was shooting
Calyx3 - purple garland lily; part of a mass planting all grown from seed collection from original plant

Wonderful presentation of a beautiful subject, you've brought a little sunshine to a miserable, grey, cold Sheffield, thankyou.

Richard - how would you like a week of around 42C every day. Luckily we are in for a break from the heat for a week now, nothing over 35C ;)
