If you got idea from elsewhere and revised your own version of tutorial, please include reference and credit original authors.
For example if you found a Photoshop tutorial and wanted to write a GIMP version, you must credit the original Photoshop tutorial.

Not sure how I missed this one, but I can't get the Astronomy plugin to work. I went to the post in gimp chat and tried all the different methods but not having success. I'll look around a little more and see if I can work something out.

I'm not a very big space fan, Nancy. But this one I had to try.

Just one thing, I think you've forgotten to mention that the plasma layer should have the blend mode 'overlay.'
I didn't see my planets until I put the layer on overlay.

Beautiful results from everyone!! Ella I haven't really tried many space tutorials, mostly because I never seem to have much luck with round objects. But this one was extremely painless...well after a couple days and a few gray hairs more trying to get the plug-in going but it was worth it :lol: Thank you Eddie for all the help and another wonderful tutorial!!! My humble contribution :learned_something:
